As to the programme of events, this was as follows:

• Saturday 19^th June - Met at 11:00 a.m. at the end of a forestry track  (with permission from the Forestry Commission) NGR SH 679 068 (View OS Map) - saving the hike up from the village.  Surface walk and underground trips in and around Bryneglwys Slate Quarry.  Download the field notes : Quarry / Geology

• Saturday Evening - Dinner at the Corbett Arms Hotel.  (View location map) Menu  The AGM was held and next years meetings agreed upon.

• Sunday 20^th June - Met at 10:30 a.m. at Gwar-cwm-isaf farm, NGR SN 6685 9140, (View OS Map) for Brynarian Mine.  Most were guided around the surface remains including 'double' crusher house, shaft tops, (including whim circle at one) and spoil dumps - a few hardy souls went exploring the rather wet open levels.

 Met after lunch, at Bryn Dyfi, by courtesy of Mr. Stephen Evans.  Mill site is located at NGR SN 683 934 (View OS Map) which is in need of conservation if its unique features are to be preserved.  The ponds and trackbed of the  tramway were viewed en route to the mine workings, which are somewhat limited, but were duly explored by several members.
