WMS Membership

  Due to the increasing expense of insurance the following options are now available :

•  Newsletter Subscription only : £4.00 per year (or to ease administration - £8.00 for two years).  For this princely sum, you will receive two Newsletters per year, packed with current information on mining history, predominantly in Wales.  The Welsh Mines Society  typically holds one indoor social meet each year, to which you will be most welcome to attend.

• Overground WMS Membership only : £9.00 per year.  In addition to the above you will be insured to participate in the two weekend field meets organised by the Welsh Mines Society, but will be restricted to surface activities - unless covered by BCA Insurance, via. another club or directly via. the BCA.

• Underground WMS Membership : £19.00 per year.  In addition to both the above you will be insured to participate in any underground activities organised by the Welsh Mines Society.

  If you are already a Newsletter Subscriber or a Member, the paid up date is shown on your address label (on the envelope you’ve just thrown in the bin !!) - if you are "Paid up to DEC 2005" or before then the date will be highlighted in red as your subs are overdue and your Treasurer, David Roe, would be most grateful if you could pay promptly.

  To join the WMS;

i)   Download a copy of the application form.

ii)  Print a copy of the application form.
iii) Complete all fields.
iv) Post the completed form, enclosing a cheque made payable to 'Welsh Mines Society', for the relevant amount to:
